Generality
A Meteorology station is a set of sensors connected to a control unit
which can record the data directly, or send them on a webserver for
subsequent display, analysis and storage of data.
The weather stations can be equipped with sensors with different
measuring accuracy. Also an important role in the accuracy of the
measured data also perform the procedures for arrangement of the sensors
on the rods, tripods and / or pylons and even the layout of the station
in the same context, whether urban or in open field. Our weather
stations are manufactured according to the standards of the WMO (World
Meteorology Organization).
Weather stations can be powered by mains electricity fixed or can be
powered by small solar panels for applications in the open field.
Our systems can be expanded according to customer requirements. The
hardware system of management of the sensors, is not composed of a
control unit, but from modules connected in series, this allows us to
optimize costs, to have a flexible solution according to the specific
requests being able to handle from a few up to several hundred of
sensors at a single site.
The electronics is usually housed in boxes door instruments with a high
degree of IP protection in suitcases or shock, in cases of portable
systems used in the measurements of a few days or a few weeks.
